Proudly Radical - Episode 26 - News, Discussion and More!
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
Another afternoon/evening livestream that includes some really good chat discussion, headlines (see below) and news largely involving (of course) COVID-19 and the US relief bill, a grocery store that had to throw out $35,000 worth of food because of some dumb person's idea of a "prank", a few NHS workers have been receiving notices to vacate during this pandemic, the looting of the American public in the form of a corporate cash grab and the potential radicalization of an entire generation as a result of the mishandling of these events after the lead up of all the other fuckery in their lives.
Anthony and Eric from the Just A Kouple Dudes Podcast (aka the JAKs Podcast) stop by and we introduce ourselves and find common ground for future projects as well as a call in from an Indian listener who informed us of some of the measures their country has taken to prevent rampant outbreaks in the slums.

Proudly Radical - Episode 24 - News of the Day, Relief Act Breakdown & Listener Call In
Wednesday Mar 25, 2020
Wednesday Mar 25, 2020
In today's livestream we talked extensively about the government relief act, it's likely breakdown and how most of it will never end up with the people themselves. Of course we cover some of the Trump fuckery that happened (specifically his ill-advised recommendations killing a supporter and nearly killing that man's wife), some Biden discussion and we have a great caller from Germany who brought some enlightened and external perspectives and opinions to the American debate.
Hope you enjoy this afternoon livestream. Coming soon will be a scripted, prerecorded episode on anarcho-socialism/syndicalism, as 101 class if you will.

MLC Livestream - Series 2 - Episode 14 - A Super Productive Double-Header
Monday Mar 23, 2020
Monday Mar 23, 2020
The primary focus of this entire episode is dedicated to shining a spotlight on Anarcho-Syndicalism/Socialism, explaining what they are and to demonstrate what they functionally look like, identify some of the potential pitfalls, how they can be avoided and to provide methods on how to bring these ideologies and philosophies in to your life and community.
This is the longest published livestream to date (6 hours) and is contains some amazingly productive work. Although the beginning lacks a touch of chat/community involvement it definitely gets busy later on with several callers across the entirety including a curious high-schooler, a musician and fellow podcaster from California, a Texas-based dance instructor and an Indian caller looking to practice some English.

In this livestream we have some technical difficulties with Podbean leading to some interesting dumps of listeners and content, we feature a few obvious candidates for Bad Cop No Doughnut, we talk for a while about the #RIPJoe (Biden) trend on twitter, oil prices crashing and as always a bunch more!

Proudly Radical - Episode 22 - Back on Brand
Thursday Mar 19, 2020
Thursday Mar 19, 2020
In this headline rundown I discuss topics surrounding COVID-19, corporate malfeasance, Congressional insider-trading that used to be illegal that isn;'t because they exempted themselves from that law and the actions of Sen. Richard Burr, GOP Senators caught laughing at the concept of calling corporate bailouts "Freedom Payments", Rand Paul calling immigrants "non-people", 51 Republican Senators voting against the bill that would have expanded sick leave for millions of Americans, religious non-sense including Mormons pushing proselytizing while everyone is home and a regressive female blogger's views on COVID-19 forcing women back into the house "where they belong", the April 1st International Rent Strike and Tulsi Gabbard suspends her presidential campaign.

Proudly Radical - Episode 21 - A Day of Podcasting
Thursday Mar 19, 2020
Thursday Mar 19, 2020
Originally aired as a MLC Livestream but due to the lack of my co-host Mike it has been re-categorized into the Proudly Radical podcast area but it will contain me saying welcome to the Misery Likes Company intro.
This is the wrap session for a very long day of podcasting that totaled over 10 hours of hosting and guesting on other shows. I was informally awarded Podcast Host of the Day which we quickly made into an actual award that myself and the fellow hosts intend to give out (as well as a weekly award on the Sunday MLC Livestreams). To be perfectly honest while writing this description it all seems like a bit of a blur so sit back, give it a listen and I hope you enjoy whatever the hell we got up to. I do know that per community request, part way through this I started a stream on YouTube so they could be "present" in my media room, I took a bunch of callers, answered questions, chatted and we generally just had a good 'ole time. Glenn from Random Couple Show helped anchor this shit down for me and wrapped the evening with me in the end.

Wednesday Mar 18, 2020
Wednesday Mar 18, 2020
In this ever so "special" stream we talk video games for a while and just have a relaxed afternoon stream that eventually devolves into absolute fuckery that kicks off a night of debauchery amongst the fellow podcast hosts including PodGod and Random Couple Show.

Proudly Radical - Episode 19 - A Conversation with ModelMentorMom & Glenn
Tuesday Mar 17, 2020
Tuesday Mar 17, 2020
In this special livestream I have a lovely and intelligent conversation with brand new podcaster ModelMentorMom who is the partner of JoyTalks. And later Glenn from Random Couple Show stops by the help wind things down after the high brow portion of the show ;)
*Note: In the beginning of the episode we were having fun with our global chat audience and playing random music from Youtube in the native language of some of the listeners and as such for copyright (barf) purposes I've muted that section.
