MLC Livestream - Series 2 - Episode 11 - First Video Simulcast!
Monday Mar 16, 2020
Monday Mar 16, 2020
In this livestream we/I take to video for the first time! We also cover decent ground with the COVID-19 situation, do some headlines from around the world, debut the new Bad Cop No Doughnut segment, have a wonderfully delightful caller from New Zealand that brought some very good points and discussion to the topic of next stage evolution for global economics, view a video I took of the apocalyptic scenes at my local Whole Foods and have some fun chat interaction with a few of our regulars.

Proudly Radical - Episode 17 - The Dominionist Infection
Friday Mar 13, 2020
Friday Mar 13, 2020
In this final episode in my 3 part mini-series exploration into the topic of American religion and how to has come to be so corrupt and intertwined within the politics of the right, I delve into the legacy of RJ Rushdoony, the father of Christian Reconstructionism and Dominionism. I talk a bit about some of the officials, political, legal and military, that count themselves amongst these ranks as well as some of the organizations working to further the horrible goals of this ideology.

Proudly Radical - Episode 16 - A Livestream to Decompress
Thursday Mar 12, 2020
Thursday Mar 12, 2020
In this afternoon livestream, I was just taking some time off from writing the next episode of Proudly Radical on Dominionism and decided to spend a couple hours streaming. We tried our best to not talk about COVID-19 but alas the entire newsfeed is filled to the brim with it but, we did manage to get a few other topics in as well as a few other headlines including the EARN IT act sneakily worming it's way through Congress that is an attempt at undermining end-to-end encryption, a prisoner who was left to die (and did) and a few other topics. Unfortunately though conversation did inevitably turn back to the issue of the day.

Proudly Radical - Episode 15 - New Things to Come, Bitching and Headlines
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
In this episode I talk about some of the exciting new things to come to Kai's Things which include multi-casting and video livestreaming for the Misery Likes Company Livestream! Then unfortunately I have to have a bitch session about copyright/intellectual property and YouTube's absolute shitfuckery because of a near immediate copyright claim on a creative commons licensed song.
I also cover some of the headlines which for better or for worse include COVID-19, the Las Vegas (MGM properties) buffets closing, Trump not knowing influenza kills people despite his grandfather being killed by it, the UK Health Minister testing positive for COVID-19, the blatant hypocrisy of the grifters at the faith "healing" Bethel mega-church, Alex Jones's DWI, an Israeli cancer patient who had a lung removed and "cleansed" of the cancer and then re-implanted and a 17 year-old French photographer who was viciously attacked by their dog and officers both and then had his life threatened (on camera) by police for literally picking a badge one of them had dropped and nearly left behind and attempting to kindly return it to them.

In this livestream we discuss some of the authoritarian ramification of COVID-19 outbreaks and potential quarantine scenarios, general systemic oppression, possible alternatives to force driven systems, whether our present method of voting is effective and ways to optimize our voting habits, we covered a variety of headlines involving police overreach, corporate malfeasance, New Jersey violating the second amendment rights of a black security guard, the ICC investigating US war crimes in Afghanistan and an interesting call in from Pakistan.

Proudly Radical - Episode 14 - PodBean Fuckery & A Really Good Time
Friday Mar 06, 2020
Friday Mar 06, 2020
In this very different livestream I have fun with Glenn & Kristina from the Random Couple Show while PodBean was having some fairly significant technical difficulties. They essentially would cut every livestream off entirely between 11 and 12 minutes. Glenn & Kristina were kind enough to do a mini-raid and brought over their audience and we actively manipulated the engagement scores a bit (all in good fun) while things got sorted out. We talked a wide variety of topics, took a caller from India who was practicing her English and just generally had a merry ole time. I also debuted a friend's music that he let me have during our broadcast which you can find here (AdJam by Michael Sams) and played a variety of music from Jason Shaw over at AudioNautix.

MLC Livestream - Series 2 - Episode 09 - Productive, Non-Productive and Errors
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
In this livestream we start off by having some casual and friendly chat, make our way around to some headlines from around the globe and eventually negative elements end up washing up on our shores once more and slowly attempt to derail us entirely. Glenn from RandomCouple stops by and we end the show by having a series of errors/livestream dumps by my host.
Fun times!

Proudly Radical - Episode 13 - COVID-19 & Conspiracy Theorists
Thursday Feb 27, 2020
Thursday Feb 27, 2020
In this episode I talk about conspiracy theories, theorists and the COVID-19 virus outbreak. Specifically my co-host for Misery Likes Company sharing on his discord server a video by some youtuber named Dana Ashlie, who from what I can tell traffics in easily disprovable garbage and profits nicely from it, that makes the ridiculous claim that the COVID-19 virus is not a virus at all and is actually caused by the 5G wireless frequencies:
"This specific frequency is absorbed by oxygen. 60GHz causes the rotation of the electrons around the oxygen molecule to spin, thus inhibiting the ability of hemoglobin to properly uptake these oxygen molecules."
I explain how I readily disprove this notion without using a lick of physics or biology, merely some basic data scraping and statistics. I also talk a bit about how conspiracies are real but most "theorists" just go too far or stop using any techniques grounded in science and reality (largely due to ego stroke and general ignorance) and give several examples of real world, provable, conspiracies that affected/affect us all but aren't as attractive to "theorists" because they aren't magic and space lizards but simple backroom dealings instead.
