In this livestream we talk extensively about the coronavirus, we also covered scientology, water and infrastructure problems in the US and about the conservatorship of Britney Spears with a few odds and ends mixed in including a picture of a military member's boots after a 12 mile ruck march and the crazy fucking "spiritual advisor" to President* Trump & a Russian comedian who had to flee his country after telling a joke.

Proudly Radical - Episode 05 - Let's Do Some News
Monday Jan 27, 2020
Monday Jan 27, 2020
Let's do some old fashioned news breakdowns. In this episode I'll be covering LGBT descrimination in the Florida public school system, proposed Federal cuts to social security, medicare and medicaid, the White House credentialing a racist wackjob "news" site, the Secretary of State having a toddler-like meltdown at a journalist, the half-assed attempt by the current administration to sell logging and fossil fuel as a solution to pollution from wildfires, the President's* blatant attempt to downplay the brain injuries received by troops from the Iranian rocket attacks, the Air Force using a web game to recruit drone pilots, the Austin city Chief of Police refusing to abide by the commands/wishes of the people & city council and I wrap up with rant about the importance of voting (especially at the local and state levels).

Proudly Radical - Episode 04 - Some Catching Up
Friday Jan 24, 2020
Friday Jan 24, 2020
It's been a bit since the last episode posting since I had to recover from that bout of tonsillitis but in this episode I catch everyone up with what's been going on with me, my (imo) rather interesting search for a new primary care physician, the appointment with my neuromuscular specialist, I talk for a while about the coronavirus and class solidarity and worker's right through the lens of influencing workers at my local Whole Foods.

MLC Livestream - Series 2 - Episode 03 - Just Getting Back At It
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Back after a few days (tonsillitis is a bitch) and still possibly slightly contagious so Mike is remote again. Next week we'll be back to normal. We talk Atomic Testing Museum, some asides about nuclear tech*, a protest on Fremont street, MLK, The FBI trying to get MLK to kill himself, COINTELPRO, the bombing of CORE's building in Philly, a LA Times article about the Pentagon and CIA arming opposing groups who are fighting, MDMA assisted psychotherapy gaining ground, a promising multi-type cancer treatment involving a newly discovered type of T-Cell, the Edelman survey, Chicago PD wanting their misconduct records destroyed after 5 years and the new Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium which cost nearly $2 billion with $750 million being provided by the taxpayers.
*Kai's Note: When discussing nuclear delivery systems I mistakenly said Patriot when I meant Crusie. My dimensions of the warhead and potential effects remain the same.

Proudly Radical - Episode 03.5 - Just a Quick Update
Tuesday Jan 14, 2020
Tuesday Jan 14, 2020
Just a quick update to let you all know I've come down with a case of tonsillitis and I'm going to delay doing this week's episodes of Proudly Radical in order to rest my voice/throat. Fear not, Mike and I will be back for Monday's Misery Likes Company Livestream even if it means I'm horse and not quite ready, that show will go on!
Until then, take care of one another and I hope you're all as well as you can be.
❤️ Kai

In this episode we cover a plethora of topics (as usual) from CES 2020 Las Vegas to my mother giving me the foundations of anti-authoritarianism from a very young age as well as political and social ills ranging from military-industrial complex scams, tax gouges and general inadequacies of the economic and political systems we find ourselves entrenched plus so much more!

Proudly Radical - Episode 03 - Time to Burn Down the Health Care System
Saturday Jan 11, 2020
Saturday Jan 11, 2020
In this episode I elucidate the intricacies of getting fucked over by the American sick care system. Essentially I have two insurance companies (primary and secondary insurance) and neither will work with the others’ “specialty” pharmacies at the same time each requires me to use their own. Catch-22 for the win! weeeeeee… I also discuss the absolute trash state of neurological care in the Las Vegas valley including a doctor who won’t order certain tests because he can’t directly profit from them and another doctor who told me even if he could prove something, it wasn’t worth his time to argue with my insurance company.
I also mention the passing of the great Neil Peart. 💔

Proudly Radical - Episode 02 - I Think I Converted One...?
Friday Jan 10, 2020
Friday Jan 10, 2020
I have a nice old fashioned ramble about today’s events including a conversation with a Trump supporting, born-again baby boomer who is a PhD Toxicologist and how I’ve warmed him up to anarchism.

Proudly Radical - Episode 01 - I'm Back
Wednesday Jan 08, 2020
Wednesday Jan 08, 2020
My first episode back after an approximately 3 week hiatus and I’m back under the new show title :) In this episode I do the basics of introducing myself, elaborating a bit about my basic political/economic views and cover a couple headlines. Nothing too heavy but an easing of the toe back in the water.
